DMS Geotechnical Engineering

is an Italian consulting company highly specialized in the field of Geotechnical Engineering.

The company offers the full spectrum of geotechnical services, from the ground investigation and mechanical characterization of soils and rocks, to the design of various geotechnical works, such as: foundations for civil and industrial structures, cuttings and retaining walls, tunnels and underground excavations, slope stabilization, soil improvement, dams, embankments and earthworks, harbour works.

DMS was founded in 2002 by 3 engineers: Dr. Marco D'Elia, Professor Salvatore Miliziano and Professor Fabio Maria Soccodato. They met at the Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Department of the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where they got their Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering.

In a few years, DMS has grown up significantly and now it is a leading company in Italy in the field of geotechnical engineering. This happened due to the high quality of the services offered, due to the expertise of the Directors, also related to their academic curricula, and finally due to an efficient and well organized teamwork, which allows to develop large volumes of activities.

DMS Geotechnical Engineering s.r.l. is member of two main Italian Associations: SIG (Italian Tunneling Society) and OICE (Engineering Company Association).
